KURORAKU tea bowls, created with values and aesthetics completely different from those of other pottery, are symbolic of Japanese ceramics and the tea ceremony. Rough clay is kneaded and molded by hand, and fired in a high-temperature kiln to produce rough yet elegant tea bowls.The black color produced by rapidly cooling the hot bowls after they come out of the kiln has a moist luster.
